At Kanari, we believe that a great digital employee experience isn't just a technical goal — it’s a business imperative. Whether it’s accessing critical apps, resolving IT issues quickly, or simply having systems that just work, the digital tools employees rely on everyday shape how productive, engaged, and satisfied they are.

That’s why we’re proud to share a major milestone: together with our partner Riverbed, we’ve launched an Aternity SaaS instance in AWS Stockholm. This is a significant step forward for organizations across the Nordics seeking to deliver world-class DEX while ensuring local data compliance.

To explore what this means in practice, we spoke with Bas Bremmer, Director, Global Strategic Alliances at Riverbed, and Torsten Granli, SVP Delivery, Sales Support & Product Development at Kanari.

Q1. Great to have you here today Bas — what are we announcing?

Bas: We’re proud to congratulate our valued partner Kanari AS on the successful launch of a Riverbed Aternity SaaS instance in AWS Stockholm! This milestone, achieved through our strong and strategic alliance, marks a major step forward in delivering world-class Digital Experience Management solutions with local data residency in the Nordic region.

Q2. Torsten, what does this mean for Kanari’s customers?

Torsten: With this new deployment, organizations across the Nordics can now leverage the full power of Riverbed Aternity SaaS utilizing Kanari DEX service — while meeting critical data residency and compliance requirements. It’s a game-changer for enterprises that need high performance and control, without compromising on PII data exposure.

Q3. Bas, what are the benefits of using Aternity SaaS instead of the on-premises version?

Bas: With the SaaS version of Aternity, Kanari’s customers gain access to all the latest features and updates automatically. This includes advanced capabilities like Riverbed Aternity’s Digital Experience Index (DXI), Experience Insights, and Sentiment Surveys. It’s all about faster time to value and staying ahead with minimal operational overhead.

Q4. Torsten, how would you describe the partnership with Riverbed?

Torsten: Our partnership with Riverbed is built on shared values — a commitment to performance, innovation, and delivering real impact. Riverbed provides world-class digital experience technology, while we bring a deep understanding of the Nordic market and how to translate observability & Digital Employee Experience into business outcomes for our customers.

This collaboration has been close, focused, and solution-oriented. Together, we’ve launched something truly valuable: a secure, local Cloud offering that helps our customers meet compliance needs while enhancing IT performance and user experience.

Q5. And Bas, what does the future hold for Kanari and Riverbed?

Bas: The future is bright! With the new Stockholm instance now operational, Kanari can offer a DEX service to their customers with data that never leaves the Nordics. We are delighted to partner with Kanari to continue delivering world-class results — combining our market-leading technology with their hands-on expertise in Digital Workplace managed services.
