“Kanari is planning to grow substantially in the next few years, primarily in the Nordic market. We aim to expand through both organic growth and acquisitions. Håvard has the perfect background and personal qualities for his new role. He will help further develop our finance function and work actively on strategy and growth initiatives,” says Kanari’s CEO Philip Duns.

As Kanari’s new CFO, Håvard Hammer Normann will have overall responsibility for the company’s financial management, investments and acquisitions. He will also be a member of Kanari’s executive management team. Before joining DeepOcean, Normann was an adviser in the Investment Banking Department at ABG Sundal Collier. He graduated from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) with a Master’s degree in industrial finance and technology management. Before graduating, he spent a year at Harvard University in the USA, where he studied finance and data technology.

Kanari is a Nordic supplier of Stability & Performance Analytics (SPA) and Application Performance Monitoring (APM). The company serves just over 400 enterprises in the Nordic region and has employees in Norway, Sweden, Denmark and Finland.

“Kanari is an extremely exciting company, which has grown rapidly in recent years and has ambitions to expand internationally. The company has specialist expertise in a highly demanding field, and the products and services we provide generate considerable added value for our customers, both in the IT sector and elsewhere. With active owners, and the competence and resources they possess, the company is well positioned to take the next steps on its journey. I am extremely motivated to contribute along the way,” says Håvard Hammer Normann.
